The "Psalter" webpage augments the Psalter section of the Lutheran Service Book (LSB) hymnal. Like other webpages, it consists of a table at the top and trees at the bottom. The "Psalter tones" tree accesses the various tones associated with the chanting (Introit) of the psalms. The "Psalm sheets" tree accesses each of the LCMS psalm sheets for the 150 psalms. The table at the top is used for deeper research on the psalms and psalm tones.

The "Psalter tones" tree expands to show the various tones for chanting (Introit) the psalms.

Clicking the LCMS image () after each tone will display a webpage for that tone that can be used to listen to the tone being chanted.

The "Psalm sheets" tree exposes information for the 150 psalms. For each psalm, an LCMS image () is incuded that, when clicked, will display the psalm sheet for that psalm. Clicking the Bible Gateway image () after each psalm will display the text for that psalm using the Bible Gateway website.

In the following screen shot, the psalm sheet for Psalm 23 is shown.

The images and what they expose are:

- displays the section from the LCMS website pertinent to the doctrine

- displays the Bible Outline web page with all the Bible passages referenced by this doctrine displayed in the table at the top.

- displays the text for each of the referenced Bible passages using the Bible Gateway website

Clicking any of the yellow-underlined text from the "Psalter tones" or "Psalm sheets" tree will add that tone/psalm to the table at the top. For example, when the nodes for Psalm 23 and Psalm 24 are clicked, those two psalms are added to this table as shown by the following screenshot. These tones/psalms can then be further researched using the various sources for the columns in this table.
